Process
Overview
Our walls and roofs are constructed in the German based factory as whole units; with windows and external doors factory fitted, we are able to offer markedly reduced construction time and superior quality control over both traditional and standard timber frame construction.
Once the structure is completed in the factory and delivered to site, each unit will then take just one to two days - depending on the size of unit - to erect to a weather-tight state. The units come fitted with all electrical conduits for easy wiring, piping for water ventilation and waste pre-installed into the walls, the external walls are finished with a waterproof/breathable material that is ready for the final finish of your choice; render, cladding, brick slips etc. Because our structure only requires a settlement of 1/2mm, the second fix can begin immediately after the structure is erected.
Our house building system is very simple:
- Local design to meet your/tenants needs
- Ground works and slabs are provided by a local/main contractor
- Homes are manufactured in Germany, then delivered on low loaders and erected on site in one to two days
- All units have windows, electric conduits, plug and switch points, wall and roof battens factory fitted
- Final internal and external finishes can be done to your own choice, price point or planning requirements
- There is significant cost savings due to time of completion and we also offer markedly lower costs on professional fees.
- We offer extremely high manufacturing standards, with homes built using high quality materials and superior construction techniques
- Our overall construction and standard internal materials are extremely robust compared to standard timber frame units and this will of course reduce future maintenance costs
